A VOLUNTEER – MENTOR PROGRAM
After School Advantage Program
The program runs three hours after school offering students one hour each of academic support, enrichment, and physical education.
BHS Program

The Before High School Program (BHS) provides a safe, educational, structured, and fun before school program to students in High School.

TEACH Program
The match of a student receiving one or more below average grades with a mentor. The main focus is to assist students in the study skills and become independent learners.
Health Education
Includes Taste & Learns, Blender Bike activities, Family Health Nights, garden curriculum and CATCH P.E. as well as many other activities that assist our youth and their families in making healthy choices.
STEAM/STEM Education
STEM program travels to various schools allowing students to explore robotics, 3D printing, and to use their brains to problem solve and compete in unique challenges.

Homework Assistance program

The program offers a group setting for students who can work independently but need some assistance.

reading assistance program

Reading Assistance Program (RAP) is based on the sensory Orton-Gillingham method, which has been used successfully in reading remediation for over eighty years.  It is an integrated language arts program that systematically teaches reading, spelling, phonics, fluency, grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension.  It uses the four pathways: auditory, kinesthetic, visual and speech to provide multiple instructional practices that many struggling readers need to be successful.
